OUR VISION
When we look at the state of Women’s Rights and Trans Rights, it’s clear that business as usual is not enough.
We envision a Utah where bodily autonomy is protected, and where all people – including trans women and men, have access, support and the right to make their own healthcare decisions.
Green Wave Utah exists to help build that future – through awareness, community, education, fundraising, and collective action.
OUR WORK
We are building a grassroots movement in Utah that helps raise awareness, strengthen community, and directs resources to local organizations supporting bodily autonomy and reproductive healthcare, including abortion.
Our focus is simple:
- Expand access to reproductive healthcare
- Support local providers and community organizations
- Uplift trans and gender-expansive communities through access to affirming resources, support networks, and community spaces.
The Green Wave is already in motion – through community events, workshops, fundraising, shared resources, and people showing up.
We believe support means more than healthcare – it includes community, safety, connection, and access to spaces where people are seen, respected, and supported.
WHY THE GREEN WAVE?
The Green Wave started in Argentina and spread through Latin America where hundreds of thousands of people in multiple countries stood up together on behalf of Women’s Rights! Several governments ultimately changed laws to expand access to Abortion & Reproductive Health Care!
Now, the GREEN WAVE is spreading across the U.S!

53% of Utahns would uphold Roe v. Wade were it up for reconsideration.
55% of Utahns think abortion should be legal in all or most cases.
